Porsche has introduced several new customisation options for the Cayenne, Macan and Panamera models.

The new options are: an elaborate Rear Seat Entertainment system for all four-door sports cars, a sports exhaust system for the Macan S Diesel as well as the Sport Classic wheel including wheel arch extenders for the Cayenne. The Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system now comes as standard in the Panamera S, Panamera 4S and Panamera GTS models.
Gemballa has introduced their new GTP 720. Based on the Porsche Panamera Turbo, the model has a twin-turbo 4.8-liter V8 engine that has been upgraded to produce 720 PS (530 kW). This enables the hatchback to accelerate from accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 9.7 seconds and 0-300 km/h in 26.4 seconds before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph).
The skies might be friendly, but the view from the tarmac looks awfully good when you’re being whisked to your next flight in a Porsche Panamera luxury sedan. Delta Airlines has expanded its fleet of Porsche service vehicles to New York City, and the New York Daily News Autos hitched a ride to experience flying s– Porsche-style – at low altitude.
Bernhard Maier, Porsche’s global sales and marketing boss, commutes daily to company headquarters near Stuttgart using a Porsche Cayenne plug-in hybrid or a Panamera with a low-carbon dioxide powertrain.
Come next year, Porsche will be updating the Porsche Panamera with a brand new model and it’s going to be that much needed correction over the existing model.
At present, cranes and concrete mixers are working hard on completing the building of the Porsche Leipzig plant where the first pilot series bodies of the new Panamera generation will roll off the assembly line in the middle of 2015. The sporty time schedule is demanding.
Not long ago, Porsche debuted its limited-run Porsche Panamera Exclusive Series at the LA Auto show – 100 specially minted cars that offer the best of what Porsche can cram into a luxury five-door. But at an astounding $310,000 a pop, they don’t exactly come cheap. Regardless, the entire lot recently went up for sale. In the span of 48 hours all the limited edition cars were accounted for, reportedly a shock even to Porsche’s top dogs.
